Billing and Subscription
This guide explains how to manage your Xolapp billing: your subscription plan, payment methods, billing history, and add-ons such as team seats, SMS credits, Voixa minutes, and hardware. It is for owners and admins.
Where to find Billing
Location: Billing in the main menu (under Business, or in the sidebar).
The Billing page brings together your subscription, payment methods, and charges in one place.
Current Plan and Subscription
On the Billing page you can:
- View your current plan (e.g. Basic, Solo, Team, Enterprise) and status (active, trialing, past_due, etc.).
- Upgrade or change plan using the options shown. You may see Upgrade or Change plan to move to a higher or different tier.
- Manage team quantity (for Team plan): increase or decrease the number of team seats. Changes may prorate.
- Cancel subscription if needed. There is usually a Cancel or Cancel subscription option. Cancellation may take effect at the end of the current billing period.
Your subscription is billed to the payment method on file. Keep your payment method up to date to avoid service interruption.
Payment Methods
Add or update the card (or other payment method) used for your Xolapp subscription and add-ons.
- Add a payment method: Use Add payment method (or similar) and enter your card details. This method can be used for subscription and one-off charges.
- Set default: Choose which payment method is used by default for recurring charges.
- Remove a payment method: You can remove a method that is not the only one on file. You must have at least one valid payment method for an active paid plan.
Billing History
View past invoices and charges for your Xolapp account.
- Invoices: See list of billing invoices (subscription, add-ons, etc.). Download or view each invoice as needed.
- Charges: One-off charges (e.g. SMS packs, Voixa minutes, hardware) appear in billing history. You can match them to the relevant invoice.
Use this for expense tracking, accounting, or disputing a charge.
Add-ons and One-off Purchases
Depending on your plan, you may see:
- Team seats: For Team plan, add or remove seats. Billing may prorate.
- SMS credits: Purchase SMS packs for reminders and notifications. Charges appear in Billing.
- Voixa minutes: Purchase minutes for Voixa AI phone booking. Charges appear in Billing.
- Hardware: If you order terminals or other hardware, those charges may appear here or in a separate flow.
Add-ons are charged to your default payment method unless otherwise stated.
Frequently asked questions
Where do I update my payment method?
Go to Billing and open the Payment methods (or similar) section. Add a new card or select an existing one as default. You can remove old cards if you have another on file.
How do I upgrade or change my plan?
On the Billing page, under Current Plan, use Upgrade or Change plan and follow the steps. You may be redirected to complete payment. Changes often take effect immediately or at the next billing cycle depending on the type of change.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. On the Billing page there is an option to cancel your subscription. Cancellation usually takes effect at the end of the current billing period so you keep access until then. After that, your plan may revert to a free or limited tier.
Where do I see past invoices?
Open Billing and look for Billing history or Invoices. You can open or download past invoices for your records.
